🂡 What is Indian Rummy?
Indian Rummy is a card game where players arrange 13 cards into valid sequences and sets. It's a skill-based game that combines strategy, memory, and quick decision-making. The goal is to form at least two sequences (one pure) and arrange all cards before other players.
📝 What is a pure sequence?
A pure sequence is a group of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit arranged without using any joker. For example: 4♠ 5♠ 6♠ or J♦ Q♦ K♦. Every valid declaration must have at least one pure sequence.
🃏 How do jokers work in Rummy?
Jokers can substitute any card to complete sequences and sets. There are printed jokers and wild jokers (randomly selected). However, jokers cannot be used in pure sequences. Use them wisely in impure sequences or sets to maximize their value.
🎲 How many players can play Rummy?
Indian Rummy can be played with 2 to 6 players. The most common formats are 2-player (10-13 cards each) and 3-4 player games (7 cards each). Our online version supports 2-4 players with customizable settings.
⏱️ How long does a Rummy game take?
A typical Rummy game takes 5-15 minutes, depending on the number of players and their skill level. Points Rummy is the fastest (2-5 minutes), while Pool Rummy can take 30-60 minutes for complete elimination.
